review of "The kingdom by the sea"
This book is about a 12 year old boy who is bombed out of his home in the second world war. When he is bombed out, he thinks that the rest of his family have been killed in the blast, so he runs away from the air raid wardens and sets out on his own adventure and finds a bombed out dog in his tracks and decides to look after it from now on. I would reccomend this book for a child aged between 11- 13 years old.
